The Rings
Design Notes

Every ring tells a story and with these designs we have incorporated important accolades and achievements of the Men's and Women's Team USA Basketball Olympic championship year.

For these designs, there are 138 diamonds on the men's ring and 66 diamonds on the women's ring, representing the total historical wins for both the men's and women's teams in the Olympics. Due to the ring representing a gold medal victory we have accented certain details (Team USA logo, OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS, the actual Gold medal) in yellow 14kt gold while leaving the remaining parts of the ring in white 10kt gold. The reason for the white gold is that diamonds reflect and sparkle 10x greater in white gold then yellow, giving a greater radiance and overall lavish look to the ring.

On shoulders of the rings, 2016 and the player/coach name were placed running down the length of the shank giving a more modern appearance as well as something to differentiate this ring from past rings. Another unique aspect of the ring is the background of the shoulders. For the first time ever in championship ring history the background to have an actual basketball net looking right through the ring giving a subtle, yet obvious element indicating this ring being a basketball championship ring. Any or all of these design ideas can be revised to accommodate different achievements you feel best represent your team and the championship season. Please feel free to use the feedback area of this website to relay this information. All feedback is confidential and will go directly to our Team USA Basketball designated championship ring design team. This allows us to have design turn around times within 24-48 hours.
